choices at school

Choices of Life has a broad range of information, resources and links for students and teachers to explore the issues surrounding life and many related issues.

The information is divided into 4 basic sections:

  1. The Wonder of Life – scientific facts on the development of the unborn and related issues such as pregnancy, DNA and genes, Human Genome Project, foetal alcohol syndrome and perspectives for faith-based schools. The information is appropriate for Primary and Secondary students searching the truth about the unborn and his/her development in the womb.
  2. Abortion – with an emphasis on the scientific facts, rather than the opinions, about abortion. The information is appropriate for Secondary students searching out the truth about abortion in Australia and overseas. Graphic information is not included on the Choices of Life website but on occasions links may refer to websites with graphic material. In those instances appropriate warnings will be indicated. Links to perspectives for faith-based schools will also be provided. Information is provided, when available, from other countries on the status of their abortion laws and practices.
  3. Other life-related issues – Information on issues such as safe sex, euthanasia, cloning, IVF, cloning and stem cell research.
  4. From the schools - Students and teachers create wonderful programs on these and many other life topics. Choices of Life would like to share those practical ideas and programs with other students and teachers. Email them to Choices of Life, preferably in a PDF format, for other people to use. Large files, such as PowerPoint presentations, can be submitted via www.yousendit.com. Provide your contact details for inclusion with your entry. Choices of Life, consistent with its aims and objectives, is the final arbiter of what is made public on the site.
